Miles Graves + FUNKNVIBE = MY SON

Well today I get to interview my son Miles Graves!!! I can't even begin to tell you how PROUD I am of all his accomplishments! I say all the time I messed him up as a kid because I played so much Frankie Beverly and Maze, Earth Wind and Fire, O'Jays and list goes on. Because he has an Old Skool vibe with everything he does.

In this interview we are going to talk a little about his Brand FUNKNVIBE and what he loves to do!

How did you get started? I always felt I was destined to do creative things since I was born. To be more specific, funknvibe started in 2015 and I’ve been making videos for as long as I can remember. Funknvibe is made up of Film Directors, Producers, Fine Artist, DJ's, Clothing Brands and Photographers….Just a bunch of Creativity! Our vision is connecting the old souls to this new found energy we call creativity. Everyone shares a piece of their passion to help gain growth and move with purpose.

Funknvibe is currently at Starr Bar in Brooklyn every last Saturday night of the month.
Where are you from….by way of ? I’m a Long Island, NY resident. My family has always been here.

If you could sing one song on American Idol, what would it be? Just Fine by Mary J. Blige

If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring? Headphones, Ipod, Notebook

If you were a box of cereal, what would you be and why? 
Cinnamon Toast Crunch, because cinnamon is my favorite spice.

You are a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why? Cyan, it's such a fresh color. Bright but matches with most, takes me back to a retro time.

If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why? I would play myself and if we’re being honest, I’d probably write it too. I’m not trying to be cocky, I would just be so picky on how its made so I need some sort control with the movie.
What was the last gift you gave someone? I gave someone a really dope wallet. It was made out of 35mm film prints.
What are you listening to right now in your car? I listen to my Soundcloud on shuffle most of the time but you can believe I have funk & disco type songs on repeat.

Favorite restaurant & food ...I can’t answer this 100%. I love tasting food in general , so I’m constantly trying to try to new places.
